One Connecticut town has recently proposed the addition of a new cell tower to fill a proposed dead zone.
Farmington, Connecticut is holding a public information session allowing residents to have a say regarding the new cell tower. The new cell tower could be concealed as a flagpole, but that has yet to be decided.
According to the Patch, Farmington has many other antenna concealments in the area including: a flagpole concealment, a tree concealment, and even a steeple concealment.
Farmington Town Planner, Jeffrey Ollendorf stated, “We’ve been very fortunate…Most of the towers in our community have been well disguised and haven’t wound up being real eye sores.”
It looks like Farmington has something to hide…in a good way!
